Thumbs up

Hi everyone..
let me introduce m'self.
my name Forhad Miah, anfd i'm from England.

I am currently employed at an Indian Restuarant, well let me say that i have been working at catering industries for the last 10 years ( it started out as an part time job, and now i am working full time, but what i have realise that there is no future working in the catering industry mainly the indian restuarant and now i am trying to get a career in the legal system, but that will take me a long time at least another 3 years meanwhile i'll have to stick to indian's.

It's an hard work working at a restaurant, very long hours and also studying towards my law dergree at an university.

I hope that everything goes smoothly for me for the next couple of years and achieve my degree so that i can quit indian's.

I probably have bored u guys with my boring auto biography,
i'll leave u guys now and hope to hear from everyone of u who are using this site.

Khuda Hafiz.

Hi there

Welcome!

It's a shame you think working in the 'curry trade' is a dead end. I know alot of people working in the trade, and they are very successful- I think it's anything but a dead end for those buzzing business people who want to make big money and be their own boss!

You shouldn't really put the trade down because a huge numbers of Bangladeshi people relay on it and again it is very successful.

It's what you make out of your job that's important, it can be a hoot!

Anyways hope your degree goes well

Naj

Brother Forhad, don't under-sell yourself with this introduction, let me tell you something, the Bangladeshi owned Indian Restaurant is worth more than the ford car Industry in the UK. There you have it!

It employs tens of thousands of people and without the Indian (Bangladesi) Restaurants, I cant see how all our brothers would have been employed as the competition in the labour market is fierce and there is still considerable amount of discrimination out there.

Unlike me who discriminates potential employees on a'ability' some employers discriminate people because of their cultural indifference, religious beliefs, race, all though it isn't suppose to happen it still does.

A message for the editors please read carefully before you delete this message as I am stating facts that can be backed up with evidence from CRE as you have already deleted couple of my strongly worded articles.

I work endlessly on a voluntary capacity trying to prepare young bangladeshi men and women to secure mainstream jobs, a lot of the time, those who are less wqualified from the host community find themselves getting the job.

CATERING INDUSTRY is our lifeline atleast for another generation.

Any feedback welcome.

Hi everyone.
First of all i'd like to say thank u to everyone for encouraging me and telling me it's not bad working in r restuarant trade.

First of all i would like to thanx Ahad (bhai)for his support and for also saying it's far more bigger than the ford motor industry. I for sure that ford company is one of the most racist company in the u.k.

Any way bhai Ahad, I have heard u r from Manchester well i myself from Manchester as well, and u have mentioned that u help or it's y'r voluntary job to help out the asian people to get a secured job, so Bhai Ahad let's get together sometimes, since u r from Sylhet well get to know each other better, and u could give me some tips on how to get a proper job or u could organise a voluntary work for me so that i could get some experiance.

Ahad Bhai i think it would b a great idea to get together.

Ahad Bhai
khuda hafiz

P.S Ahad i will b waiting to hear from u.
