Microwave Cooking safety tips

Microwave cooking is normally safe, cost effective and healthy as it helps to keep the nutrients and the food values intact within the food stuffs. Yet few precautions must be taken to avoid any sort of accidents.
Microwaves cannot pass through metal. Do not use metal or aluminum utensils in your microwave oven. This includes utensils with metallic decorations around the rim as well as enameled cookware.
Only use your microwave oven to heat food. Do not use your oven to dry or heat clothing.
Do not turn your oven on when it is empty because microwaves may damage the cavity.

DONT COOK EGG AS SUCH. IT WILL EXPLODE DUE TO PRESSURE INSIDE

DONT COOK POTATOES ,BEETROOT, DHAL (PAIRU) TYPES AS WHOLE. IT MIGHT EXPLODE. YOU CAN COOK THEM BY PIERCING HOLES IN THEM OR BY CUTTING THEM.

The best tip I could probably give is the use of specific microwave cookware just to be extra safe in heating your food.

Though most plastics would work well without breaking, some say that there is some level of risk being posted when using those kinds of cookware because they are not really designed for such use.

The problem is with excessive heat, there might be some components that melt and mix with your food.
