Hi there,

Please pardon me since I'm not bengali, I'm married to one though

Does anyone know a dessert recipe my mother-in-law calls 'handesh'?
I saw her frying it in oil, it was lovely, i would love to know how it's made , I asked her, but she hardly speaks english, any help would be appreciated

depends wat ur makin, coz alot of handesh's r different. where u from?

the other thing you can search under on google is the term "shondesh" as that's the 'shuddho' bangla way of saying it

but google's the way to go!
