so wat u having..
n how early do u pplz start making em

we use 2 start making lil bits here n there throughout the whole month of ramazan n freez stuff.. but this year its only 2/3 dayz left.. n havn't gotten started.. mom got work almost everday..i got too much stuff .. abbu is bzy 2..havn't even finished eid shopping

well over at my house, weve done the keema and chicken samosas, keemar bora, coconut samosas, handesh and nunor bora.today weve got to do the other type of handesh and ont he day therel be tandoori, fulab and a whole lot of other ****.no ones gonna care what theyre eating anyway.i mean come on its eid, theyl eat anything.

My bhabis cant decide what to cook for eid!

We are so typical being bz abt what to cook for Eid or what new fashion to wear. I bet the majority of us dont even know what Eid is really about. Its not just all about shopping/eating and visiting places. Its such a special day for Muslims. I am used to seeing women being bz in the kitchen and men going to the eid prayer. Instead the Prophet SWS advised that EVERYONE goes out in the streets and celebrate eid. Even if a woman has her menses. In every corner of the streets angels all lined up to give Mubarak to us for being able to live through the all month of Ramadan and gain piety. After all, thats what Ramadan is supposed to be. To gain piety, and Eid is the day when we give thanks to Allah for giving us the opportunity to gain piety.

We have turned this special day into eating/drinking and just partying similar to x-mas, thanksgiving or just any usual get together?..Why not take the initiative and learn about the REAL purpose of EID. And oh ya,,,,its always fun to have great food around. But that shouldn't occupy our time ONLY
