If I am at home or visiting someone I will eat a kajoor and then go do my namaz and eat in peace afterwards.

But since I am on my own at the moment, I eat and then do my namaz afterwards. It only takes 20min max to eat, which leaves plenty of time to do namaz.

20 minutes to eat! O_o ...bit long innit.....or maybe I just eat fast.
I take about 10 minutes max. ....but I have been told off for “enquiring” why certain ppl I know take so long to eat. ...so maybe it is just me.

I usually have my food first and then do namaz.
But if we have guests round we have some food first, like starters ....and the main meal after namaz.

just had iftar n did nomaz n now i iz here

well, we have a masjid two doors down that broadcasts the azhan... so we eat the kazoor and then eat the whole meal, n then go nomaz...

it takes us 10 minutes at most to finish eating (which consists of: kichuri, piaji aka borra, chana) altho you had betta begin preparing it a hour or 2 ahead of time!!!

I've been told I am a slowe eater. When I'm out wuth friends thye have all finished and they help me finish my meal coz I am so slow.

But have heard that one should take at least 20mins to eat, coz it takes the stomach that long to register that you are eating. Besides, if you eat fast you prolly wont chew properly, making the stomach work harder to digest the food.
