in hadeeth, it says that if you are hungry and food is ready you should finish your iftar and than go pray Maghrib. If you are not hungry and think that it can wait till you are done praying than its ok to pray and than eat iftar. All in all, you are not to starve yourself after the time for iftar.

Are there any hadith regarding the way you conduct yourself when there are kids dying from preventable causes? Like not criticising people wanting to survive?
