KHODU!

Do ne of you guys or ur parents grow the famous bangladeshi KHODU?
My parents do! Its so funny, there like so obbsessed! When some1 comes round like sme relatives, they have to show em. we got 5 really big ones in r backgarden-its mad! They've even taken sme pics! my parents took 1 down the other day and we been eating it since coz its soo big. its not just my parents tho- their bengi mates and relatives too. Its like theyre all competin and they share it out within the fam. I dont know how im gonna stand it for another 5 more khodus including the one that theyve taken down and we cant finish yet. I dont even like the stuff!

my mum's started to grow it a while back, and the khodu's have grown quite alot..weneva anyone comes around she allways showin them the khodhu's...i dunno whats wrong with her, she cooks it wiv everyfing now and she wonders y we all stopped eatin our rice these days

my ma has turned the back garden into a veggie patch too.... it used to be her and my dad's fave hobby and they used to spend hours out there every evening gardening.... think they were reminiscing about the farms back in beani bazar or sumink! anyway.... i would do anything to have a lawn and flowers but that aint gna happen if ma has anything to do with it.

mum and dad went through the khodu craze a few years back and we too had to suffer with khodu curry every night.... her prize veggies at the mo are her rhubarbs and her naga moris... three guesses what we have been eating with our rice for the last few months!

...its like a ritual, whenever people come round she has to show them what she has grown and pick a load of stuff to give them.... all the olds enjoy gardening though... and our organic potatoes were really delicious this year so perhaps i shouldnt complain!

you know the khodu plant yeah, is it grown onto this bridge type thing they build in the garden, with wood and the things you use on gates...metal railing?


lol thats how my mums one is, and my cousins live next door, guess what my aunty's she's got in her garden, yep you guessed it, exact same thing, thats like there new kid or something, they gotta look after it and nurture it, feed it with a hosepipe everyday

they even go from one garden to the next, discussing the khodu's...yeah i used this...you should to..blah blh...i think they should all be given a tv show on banglatv to share there infinate wisdoms with the masses


P.S me and my cousins feel neglected
