Assalamu Alaykum guys and girls. Hope you all doing well.
Anyway today I've come with a question about coca cola. I've heard from many people that coca-cola is haram but no one was able to give me the specific reason. All they said was it is something to do with a Phenylanine, which I researched and found out it is a form of acid. Therefore could anyone help me on this topic. If anyone has heard about it please could you let me know.

I don't know why that acid would be haram, but I remember my grandmother telling us how she wouldn't drink soft drinks when she was younger because there was alcohol in them. Now I don't know if there's any truth to that, but that's the only thing that came to mind.
