which country are you in at the mo?..... and where's your bloke living? is it a long distance relationship?.... scuse me for being nosy!

if you've found a bengali man who will actually do something in the kitchen (the one in his home, not the one in the family restaurant), you've picked a good'n! well done!

I had to move back to Scandinavia when I finished my studies, so at the mo it's a long distance relationship! He's in UK and I am in Europe. Very annoying and frustrating, but thank God for cheap telephone cards

Nosy? It's alrite, if you don't ask you won't find out anything Just don't be too curious coz that's what killed the cat

LOL. I actually do think he has cooked a chicken curry for me...or maybe it was his MOM! OMG!!

Isn't shemai more like oh I don't know how to spell it... but my mom usually makes it for Eid (the one after Ramadhan) we call it "saweyan" in Urdu.
I thought flooda was something different...don't you put ice creme in it? At least the last time I tried it, it was cold coz my aunty put ice creme in it!?

naah, i just checked with my nan, (thank the Lord she's here), the noodles are called saweyan but the whole milk and noodles with rose water and little black seeds all mixed to make a drink is called flooda

i have heard some ppl call ice cream flooda but i've been told that's something else...sorry, my nan can't remember that.
