My mom is too busy all the time. If she's at work, I'm home, if I'm in school, she's home...you catch my flow?

There are lots of different ways to cook shutki shira.

Heres just one of the ways (The ONLY ONE I KNOW!! Ha ha!)

Its quite nice!

Here goes....

1- Get a small peice of maas and biran it. It could be any maas you fancy - I prefere Herring maas - usually use half of it. Wash it and sprinkle little salt and haldi and fry it until cooked. When it is cooled down take out the bones and leave in a bowl for later.

2- In a Handi put 1 onion and about 2 cups of water and salt. Wait for the onion to get soft. Add Haldi powder and 1 tea spoon of Moris powder.

3- Now add what ever vegetables you like. Could be Lotha, kodhu, baingoin, mookhi, aloo, oori etc etc. All veg are cut up into bitsize pieces and washed.

4- Now put in the fish that you prepared earlier in with the vegetables. and mix and cover. You will notice that the water from the vegetables will come out so leave to simmer.

5- One more thing - add lots of kassa moris cut in half and naga moris too. This is all aggording to the amount of chilli hot you can handle - so go easy!

6- In the mean time get ur hutki. What ever you eat, sungha hukoin or hidhoil (I dont know about hidhoil) and put a few spoons into a little handi with boiling water (different handi). When it comes to boil, get a seive and put all the water with the hutki juice in with the vegetables. Now add more water to that little pan and get more hutki juice until all vegetables are covered. Throw away the left over hutki in the handi as it should have no flavour left except bones.

7- Bring to boil for about 10 minutes and take off the gas. and EAT!

I dont know whow this will taste as I said its only 1 of the ways as there are lots more!

Good luck!
