Some Suggestions

hello!

Is it possible to move some age old and over used threads to the archives? I think people suddenly lose interest when they see so many replies in one thread, even if the topic is an attractive one. Besides if there are too many topics then people like me get confused where to reply, and if there are too many replies, I get frienghtened that may be the reply I am thinking of has already been given. So I think older threads should be closed with everybody’s consent and moved to the archives regularly. May be someone else will open the topic for a second time, and people will then find interest to discuss on that topic all over again. It will also give the forum a fresh and young look… I think!

Okay, another thing! What about a separate area called “Introduction”/ “Members’ Area” or something like that in the “Personals” section where a new member will introduce himself/ herself in an individual thread? If that person is a poet/ writer/ painter, he/she can also upload his/her works over there.

Not a bad idea an introduction forum. But it takes a lot of effort to make forums (at least with me it does on VBulletin)
