Yello everyone....how r u all.....this is hossain from the U.S. i'm in search of frineds around the world anyone interested....then pls response....i'm also a poet and writer....there's a thread opened based on poems....anyone who writes or even knows some good poems from other artists pls post it there...u can also post it here if u want to...well here's one of mine...hope u all like it....

Search For True Love:

Love, what is love?
Ever we thought of what this may be?
Questions, questions, wonders, wonders,
Thus I flounder hither and thither.

Well some though say it's a feeling from the heart
For someone special from whom, one can never be apart.
True though, I think it is,
But not enough to give me liss.

So I think, there's more than just not being apart,
More than just the meet of two different souls.
A feeling that's not only from, but the core, the center of the heart,
An oath to live with someone forever, and keeping this as a life-long goal.

I say so though myself, still confused-by what love is defined.
As so I met a girl who felt, thought, and spoke as me alike.
Both wondered: were we to be or not to be together?
As if were we made for each other?

When she giggles in bliss,
Seems as if the tinkling of water in lakes.
When she says and helps in the nicest and best ways,
Seems as if voice from Heaven comes, and through her, speaks.

Still I wonder as her alike,
Still feel I scared as her alike,
Are we to be or not be together?
Are we so made for each other?

Is this what love is, or is it not?
Thus is where am I being caught-
In the wonders about true love,
In the wonders of finding just that someone special
Who would live with me for life and eternity.

Halloy everyone.. first let me apologize for replying after three long yeats. when I wrote this poem, I waited for weeks until finally I just thought probably no one was interested...even the the first response I just saw was posted a month after I posted my poem....I even stopped using bangladesh.com....it's really strange how I found out suddenly..I was just looking paasing time seeing what they have posted with my name (Mustaheed Khan) on it in google search...and to my surprise, I found a link to this thread...I was pretty amazed seeing the responses...once again, I truly apologize for this delay in my reply...I'm really thankful from the heart to all those who responded to my poem. I'll be starting to post some more soon and will also start using bangladesh.com and from today this thread is once again re-opened...Hope to hear from all of you who responded earlier and some new people too...that's all for now...With best wishes and also that of the coming new year soon....Mustaheed Hossain Khan.
