I liked it. Music. Lyrics, songs... everything is nice about this movie.

Gadar as far as I know is like that Punjabi film which won acclaim.
i saw that at a film festival.

Why are the girls always Muslim and her parents the eveil one?

I hated that movie.
Won't watch Gaddar if I were you.

But lagaan, a different story altogather.
Maybe I would come out of my hibernationa dn sample this one.

I am comming from a remote Bengali village where pple live "hand to mouth" , simplicity is the way of life and dreams are the only way of entertainment. May be thats the reason why I like the story line.
Costumes used in LAGAAN were more realistic and related to village life. Most of the actors were real villagers from the village where the complete shooting took place.
Amir Khan , as expected has given another marvellous piece of performance. Time and again Amir proved himself to be a versatile actor. The music deserves equal appreciation. And only A.R. Reheman can do it.
