Its not a matter of whether its funny or not.
Its just a post and if you analyze Bangali men's fashion using pre-British clothes this is the only thing you can come up with (keeping in mind, we most of the time consider Punjabi - Paijama as dresses to be worn only in religious occasions).

So Lungis can be subject to ridicule, according to your point of view. I have never worn a lungi in my life (even my younger brother has, once to my recollection). I am not planning on wearing it in the future even when I get married. And there are many who share my opinion. Just wanted to provide a different point-of-view. Hope I have not offended anyone.

At the end of everything, clothes are clothes. We don't have to conform to any particular system. (eg. Before marriage shorts/pants and after marriage lungi). Make sure what you are wearing meets the standard set by your religion. That's it.

I recently went to Bangladesh in May 2001
And I think these are the following clothing should be banned:

Lungi: Banned PERMANENTLY For everyone who touches themself

Tight Pants: they were originally made for girls not GUYS

Funky Shirt: I dont know where they are made but whereever
The Factories should be shut down.

Tight Shirts: If u dont have nice body dont wear it (unless u gay)

Ripped Jeans: Hello..This is the 2001!!!

Long Hair(even though its not a apparael): CUT it cuz Bushy look doesnt count!

Stop Wearing your pants over ur CHEST!! It should be on ur WAIST!

WHITE SHIRTS: Dont wear it if u not goin to wash it

OK Thats all I noticed, I cant remember other stuff that should be banned.
