caught stealing?

a little kid who lives couple of doors away from me has been caught stealing.

he's in yr 7 and is about 11 i think. His year had been a on a school trip, and loads of kids took their phones with them.

anyway this kid stole a phone and hid it in his bag. the police were called and the bags were searched an ofcourse they found the fone.

His mom told me about it cos she wants me to have a word with him in the morning.

Now i know this kid pretty wel, hes such a sweet boy, i dont think simply being angry with him will be the right approach.

Like i said i know the kid, hes quite fragile and i can imagine how scared he must have been when he found out the police were searching the bags. Im pretty sure that would have terrified him a lot.

I dont know if the other kids know about it, but its gonna be pretty ruff if they do know.

I think i need to give him some words of encouragement, cos im sure he will be deeply affected by it. He's gotta go to school 2morow. He's not callous like a lot of boys his age.

Any of you been caught stealing? or know anyone that has? How did kids at scholl cope after they had been caught stealing?

i wanna comfort him. i know his dad is gonna knock seven shades out of him. then hes prolly gona get it worse at school innit. and he dosnt deserve it, hes too nice a child. despite this aberation.

This bengy kid, a family friends son, stole my lil bros gameboy

We all knew it was him from the off coz he was pretty jealous when my lil bro first got it...the kid came into my house, into the reception room, without any of us seeing him...and nicked it

We never even noticed it went missing till a good couple of hours after he had taken it...but when we found out it was missing, we knew who the culprit was

Anyway, me and my lil sis, being the biatches that we are, went over to his house, his mum was out, and proper brain washed him into thinking that if whoever nicked it, didnt give it back, God would chop their hands off and that if we didnt get back the day after, we would KILL him (yeh, this was a 10yr old kid)



And....it worked...we mysteriosuly found it, back in the same spot where it went missing...lol

Well....maybe that was taking it too far, but kids have to know what kinda punishments there is out there

Id try and show the kid the consequences of continued actions of that nature ...maybe use an example of someone in the local community whos already fcuk’d himself up ...yeh I know its not nice talking about other ppl like that, but giving lectures is never much help either ...gotta hit him with the hard facts.
