Please be aware users of Agni ISP;

It has come to our attention that almost all internet traffic routed through Agni is being piped to the Signal Training Centre and School (STCS - Jessor Cantonment) and ultimately to the Directorate General of National Security Intelligence.

It is also known that this ISP has a special relationship with certain government bodies and has as one of its aims the capture of as much as possible of the Dhaka based foreigner intenet subscriber market, that is, persons working for international agencies, NGOs, embassies and companies.

It is therefore advised to take the necessary steps to protect your communications if usage is made of Agni and possibly other ISPs. Particular attention should be drawn to the usage of Instant Messaging (IM) clients such as Yahoo, MSN Messenger, AOL, Excite, ICQ and similar varieties of software as these have next to no security/privacy protections.
Good alternatives may be Boomerang SST, the PGP plugin for ICQ, CryptIM, Cryptoheaven.

Be safe, be secure!
