I have a bad pixel or i think it is a bad pixel on my laptop. There is 1 pixel that is always green near the corner of the screen. Is it dangerous and can this affect the whole screen? Any suggestions that I can try (other than going to a repair shop)?

some of the TFT laptops have this problem of one of the pixels being bad. Dont worry this wont spread. And grow accustomed to seeing the blue/green dot always. Because as far as my knowledge goes no company will replace your laptop because a SINGLE pixel is bad.
And yeah Degauss option is only for DESKTOP CRT based screens, not for laptops. All the best |

Since they wont replace the monitor if just one pixel is bad is it not possible to create more bad pixels so they will replace it?

unfortunately no. The only way you can create another bad pixel is to take a pin and pierce the laptop screen. But in that case your artistry will be visible to the company and they wont replace their product because of that.
