May be ...
but now days in USA stocks of dot com are going down in speedy fashion and many dot com companies are now firing their employes because they are not getting any financial aid from investers.
My previous company also fired lot of people (www.cofix.com) ). And the company where I am doing job these days Verticalnet.com has stock value 8$ which is a year ago is 150$.
So man this is current situation in USA and dot com upto date.

Thanks
Faisal

question of dot com!

Salaam to muslims

Hi All

The future is not dot com but it will be a major influence. The present predicaments of dot coms is only for the short term. It is actually a defining phase whereby strongs will eat-out the weaks. At the end it will be the major players who will control large part of the sector.

Most of the time to be successful in dot com one has to have secure finance and a sound business logic. And you will find that many of the small firms have started up very quicky in the dot com hype, never thoroughly planned their business strategy carefully. You will also see that many dot coms that do survive present crisis will do so because they are active in other more established business areas, an eg is AOL. So they will weather the current crisis without much problems. But they will reap the benefits in the years to come.

That's my thought. Thanks for reading.

Cheers.
