Call Centre - Dream in Bangladesh!

Govt. initiatives for a Call Centre was very good opportunity for IT businessmen and professional but still hesitation, one asking another, is this kind of business would able to return profit within a time frame. Some one, maybe interested to start a Call Centre. He has many questions who will operate my call centre due to lake of English speaking manpower, where will be my client location, most client from outside Bangladesh, who will bring client for me, is there any consultant in Bangladesh.. Financing.., etc..

These kinds of many queries stop IT businessmen to start. Can you say, "YES" this business must be profitable within timeframe? Where as the Govt. is providing license in this step only. I think the Govt. should take more initiatives to build up institutional environment.

I'm totally agreed with you, BD Government should take more contractive steps.
This call center business can be boomed as like garment business. we can earn billions dollars thousand and thousand people can be employed.

I don't know what the problem with this government still sleeping. still people do not use internet voice as well as the internet charge is still high.

believe me, we shall do better than Indian business because i am running a small call center in Dhaka. I know how much potential it is.
hope some day Bangladesh Government will realize but that time we may lose the opportunity.

Yes, we will loose this opportunity. Govt doesn't know how let people to get start, I asked one of 2 exchange gateway licese holder about the progress of there working forece, some one replied still not good position, it was 1 month back.

The other issue is the call rate of VoIP call, govt should reduce the price again, because this is very competitive market. Client search low rate for diverting their calls. And my be the will get lowes rate of call than us.
