Hi there
we are currently a Sage Line 50 user in Australia and are looking to customise our system We currently are running an online building materials mall with a current turnover of approx $3M US and are now investigating to merging all business operations in to the one integrated automated solution if possible. Something like: A Portal site designed to allow people that are building or renovating to procure the materials they need via any web browser. Complete online e-commerce solution including back office integration. Customers can purchase from an online catalogue of materials from manufacturers (currently approximately 100+ suppliers involved). Customers can establish their own account details via a web browser with password access to these details that is cookie enabled (customers can have multiple projects with the one account – a building contractor for instance). Customers can keep track of and modify their own sales orders (having more than one) before committing to them to become an invoice. In this process they can request pricing confirmation from TC of any sales order and TC can modify any of these accordingly (freight or item variations etc) before automatic conversion to an invoice. Customers can convert any of their own sales order to an invoice themselves A conversion of a sales order to an invoice will automatically generate a supplier purchase order for the required materials once payment has been approved. If there is a price alteration for any of the items in the materials catalogue that a customer has in a sales order that has not been converted their sales order will be updated automatically and an email notification will be sent to the customer of this. Similarly, if there is to be a price rise on an item within a period of time, the customers that have these items listed in a sales order will be notified of this by email. Payments of invoices will be automatically allocated against any invoice and shown in the customers project history that can be shown individually by project or collectively as a whole, under different categories – orders completed, orders pending. These are just some quick notes. A full prospectus is being drawn up for reference to the appropriate parties If this is something you can assist with I would appreciate your thoughts to this end. regards, Fred Mancer TRADE CONNECT AUSTRALIA Free connection to trades & materials - fast!! email: info@tradeconnect.com.au web: http://www.tradeconnect.com.au Phone: 1300 850 210 |
