my computes memory doesnt come on. the sales assistant in dell said it was 13 gigobyte but on my computer its only 12. thats what it says . so did i got 12 or 13, how shall i check that.

Regarding your 12/13 gigabyte problem...... both are correct When people try to sell you a PC, they will tell you the total space on the harddrive, which I imagine = 13 Gigabytes.....

.... however, the operatng system (i.e. Windows 98, Millenium, XP) takes up some of the hard-drive because it is pre-installed. This is probably where the other gigabyte has gone.
