HOW MUCH KB IN ONE MB?

this is what i fort:
1 GB = 1000MB
1 MB = 1000KB
1 KB = 1000 bytes

but then i heard that that was rong and it was:
1024 MB = 1 GB
1024 KB = 1 MB

y cant they just keep it as a thousand, much easier to remember.

The Lady is correct:

1GB = 1024MB
1MB = 1024KB
1KB = 1024 B

They can't keep it to a thousand otherwise the calculations wouldn't work would they

1024*8=8192

8192-3000= 5192

..right
