Corny ?!?

Why Corny?

In five years even toasters will have chips. (Some already do).

I work with a Pentium 4 at work, 1.8 GHz, 1.2 Gigs of Memory, 2X18 Gig Hard Disk (Mirrored together) and Windows 2000 Advanced Server loaded. SCSI controller and Hotswap disks,

It is a Compaq Proliant DL360 G2 (1U rack server)

Cool PC!

Yeah Nice PC you have...

My home PC is still a windows 2000 box but I'll go get a nice DELL one of these days.

BTW they have these super mini PC's I saw in Vegas last month, about the size of a nice thick paperback (SEXY)...

Still as potent though, just that the motherboard is the new small standard (called ITX) instead of your Micro ATX or ATX.

dell's customer service

sucks...at least what i have seen from my internet research...you can see posts on cnet or zdnet... or do some research on the web... as far as i know dell likes their business users more than their home users..

i have a dell

and their cust serv is great

3 years of collect and return - so if it buggers up they come and take it the next day, then return it the day after

so the longest u can be without ur computer if it goes wrong on a thurs , they'll pick it up on a fri then return it on a mon

cool no?

i was using a PENTIUM 133MHz, 32MB RAM, 3GB and it was my mate who built it me for £30

but i bought a new computer last week and its a great P4 with 512MB RAM, 120GB HD and a 32CD RW and even a scanner and printer too, all for £999 in the Metro

if u r thinking of buying a new computer, then have a look at their cool offers. thing is that they use really good components and thus their stuff's pretty reliable

man, i should advertise for Dell
